The source of prescribing data

The primary source of prescribing data and prices for the whole NHS is available at the NHS information centre website http://ic.nhs.uk.

The data in the above link is for 2009. The data for 2010 will presumably be published in April 2011.

For years now Coeliac patients have been able to get basic food on prescription: bread, crackers, biscuits and gluten-free flour mixes. I am going to analyse the price and prescribing data for gluten-free mixes supplied to the NHS and in particular Juvela gluten-free White Mix and Juvela gluten-free Fibre Mix.
